Branson,MO--Nov. 10th

Branson is a city of 6,100 people in the Ozark Mountains--the Nashville North of Missouri,
many famous country singers call Branson home. We scouted out the area which is hilly and beautiful with maple, pine, ash trees. Our RV Resort in the heart of most music venues and attractions has a country setting with large well treed sites.

We went to the Table Rock Dam and Lake where The Showboat Branson Bell cruises. We visited The Shepherd of the Hills area. It rained in the afternoon and evening. We booked tickets to some of the many shows. We ate and had a drink at Gilley's Texas Cantina in the afternoon and Mickey Gilley came in,talked to us and others. What a friendly man and a great entertainer! In the evening we went to the Mickey Gilley Show--fantastic 2.5 hour show.

Hi guys,

Just checking in on you. Hope ya'll are having a good time. Noticed ya'll are wearing jackets, so I guess it is a little cool. We made our reservations in Branson at the KOA, but the place where you are sounds nice. I'll keep checking your blog to stay posted. We have been to Table Top Lake before and it is pretty. Marie, don't forget to check out the outlet mall there in Branson. Leave some things for me. Ha Ha! Can't wait to see ya'll. John and Sherryl
